The nationwide day of action for stereotype-free career orientation for boys and girls will take place this year on April 27, 2023. As STABL Energy, we are participating for the first time this year.

Women are still underrepresented in the energy sector. They are particularly rare in technical professions. But there are also positive developments: More and more girls are training for technical professions, and women overall are striving more strongly for a career in the energy sector.

We would like to support young girls in their later career choice and provide insights behind the scenes of our energy transition start-up on Girls Day 2023. Besides an introduction and a presentation of the STABL technology, there is the possibility to visit the workshops and the lab. During a joint lunch with an international team, you can exchange information about many different professions.

Gender stereotypes in career choices: Why it's important to break stereotypes

Gender stereotypes can contribute to women opting for traditionally "female" professions when choosing a career and thus being discouraged from technical professions. It is important to break these stereotypes and encourage women to also work in areas such as the energy transition in order to create a fairer and more sustainable future.
