Munich, 01.04.2023 – The up-and-coming energy storage startup STABL Energy GmbH announces the renaming of the “Siemenswerke” S-Bahn station to “STABLwerke” on April 1, 2023. The decision to rename the station was made to emphasize the importance of STABL for Munich and Upper Bavaria and the energy transition.
Katharina Keinschaden, 3rd Mayor of Munich, explained in a statement: “The renaming of the station shows how important STABL and its innovative energy storage solutions are for our city. Munich is one of the world’s leading cities in the field of innovation and technology. The ‘STABLwerke’ station is a sign that we are prepared to break new ground in order to drive forward the energy transition.”
