Munich/ Gersthofen, 3 May 2024 – Business dialogues offer an important platform for the exchange and networking of companies. On Thursday, 25 April 2024, the City of Gersthofen’s Entrepreneur Dialogue took place for the second time this year. The event, organised by the Economic Development Agency, offered participants the opportunity to exchange ideas and network in addition to industry-relevant specialist impulses.
This time, the host was the International School Augsburg (ISA), an English-speaking all-day school that looks after around 360 pupils from 40 nations and pursues a holistic strategy for the common good. Marcus Wagner, Commercial Director of ISA, emphasised the importance of sustainability for the school and Gersthofen as a business location. This is the second time that ISA has been certified as a CO2-neutral school, with STABL Energy playing a key role in the implementation of sustainable energy storage solutions.
Dr Nam Truong, CEO and co-founder of STABL Energy, presented the innovative energy storage system used by ISA to the participants. The partnership between STABL Energy and ISA shows how companies can make a positive contribution to environmental protection through sustainable technologies such as battery storage. Repurposing car batteries not only saves CO2, but also conserves resources.

The business dialogue was met with great interest, which highlighted the relevance of the topic of sustainability for companies. First Mayor Michael Wörle underlined Gersthofen’s commitment to climate protection and sustainability and emphasised the importance of cooperation between companies and educational institutions such as the ISA.
