With the Battery Hotel, STABL Energy offers e-fleet operators a smart, sustainable solution for the economically viable reuse of used vehicle batteries from their own e-fleet. After collection, testing and processing, the batteries are converted into modular, stationary storage systems and installed directly on site by the e-fleet operators – for example in the depot or charging hub.
This allows you to reduce your energy costs by reducing peak loads (peak shaving), increase the self-consumption of your PV system and reduce grid connection fees through intelligent load management. In addition, the backup function provides security in the event of power outages.

Together with the largest Scandinavian public transport and e-bus fleet operator Nobina AB, STABL has successfully implemented the Battery Hotel concept: E-bus batteries from the company's own e-bus fleet are tested after vehicle use, processed and reused as stationary battery storage units at Nobina's locations. The storage solutions are used for load management and grid support, among other things - with measurable economic and ecological added value.
